Each of us is a unique individual, shaped by our environment and past experiences: our frame of reference. We may look at the same thing, yet interpret/react to it in our own way. The objective is to pool our experiences and perceptions of life into a common denominator so we can share. The different trapezoids represent our individual “frames of reference.” The focal one represents our successful pooling, resulting in the sum being greater than the parts. My hope is that together, we can appreciate the beauty of the focal reticulated piece as a metaphor of us sharing our experiences so we can leave a better place for the next generation.

Brass represents the natural goodness of Nature and is believed to attract health and wealth. Known for its healing properties: it is believed to boost the immune system and to give courage.

Copper is believed to be a healing metal. Additionally, it is also known as the lucky metal.
