Techniques: Broom casting, fold forming, chainmaille

Broom casting is one of my favorite techniques: you never know what art pieces will come out of the casting. Once done, every time I look at the cast pieces, I see different images, reminding me of a precious time with someone, or giving wings to my imagination.

I used black horn to contrast with the subtle colors of the rest of the piece – a reminder that there is a core in each of us which defines who we are, regardless of everything else around us.

This necklace can be shortened or lengthened to fit.
